Responsibilities
• Develop/manage project plans (budget, schedule, risks, issues, etc.) in collaboration with Program Manager
• Facilitate/coordinate project communications
• Maintain and update program status, project status reports and dashboards as required
• Develop project charters, business cases, options analyses and evaluation plans
• Identify and manage organizational change requirements for the project, working with the Clinical Leads
• Work collaboratively with the Product Lead(s) to align product tasks from the project plan into Sprints.
• Manage project scope change processes, and acquire approvals
• Manage Project Team performance of project tasks
• Control, track and report on the execution of the project plan and day-to-day aspects of the project
• Control, track and report on project financials (budgeted, planned and spent)
• Control, track and report on current and forecast resource usage
• Control, track and report on issues and risks identified for the project
• Escalate significant issues that cannot be resolved by the Project Team
• Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor, Clinical Architect and relevant stakeholders
• Schedule and chair Project Team meetings, workshops etc.
• Transition project deliverables to Operations (Production Turnover/PTO)
• Submit regular status reports to the PMO, Program Management and Program Steering Committee
• Perform project management processes as per PMO standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Mandatory Criteria
• Experience working within the BC Health Sector, ideally within the primary health care sector
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Project Management Professional or PRINCE2 designation considered an asset
• Working knowledge and experience with Agile as well as waterfall project management concepts practices, and deliverables
• Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment
• Solid understanding of how various technologies fit together in an ecosystem to deliver services
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in simplified terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholder groups
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
