Responsibilities
As a Risk Analyst, your duties will include but not limited:
•Assisting with developing and delivering strategies by applying creative expertise, risk and control advisory
•Delivering agreed Risk Initiative objectives, including preparation of business case, analysis and reporting
•Driving efficiency and enhancement of BUOR&R practices and reporting via consultation with the team, identification and assessment of options and actions for delivery
•Providing change management support for design/enhancement to address risk issues and identification of home of best fit
•Monitoring Transformational Change programs that may influence and evolve the company Risk profile and present opportunities for enhancement.
•Partnering with 2LOD Risk teams to assess risk impacts of change and to support the business with risk response plans
•Partnering with Operational control, be a champion of risk change management and adherence to the Operational Readiness protocols
Qualifications
•Educated to degree level or equivalent
•Strong knowledge and understanding of Operational Risk and Resilience requirements and best practices
•Change lifecycle/project experience
•Analytical thinking – Ability to break apart complex problems into component problems or issues and make appropriate decisions
•Works collaboratively - Works in partnership with others. Strong facilitation skills
•Strong, influence, collaboration and negotiation skills
•Strong Reporting and Communication skills
•Highly self-motivated with strong sense of initiative
•Conceptual thinker with a structured and methodical approach to problem identification and resolution
•Demonstrated communication strategy development and execution
•Experience in implementing appropriate control frameworks for effective risk mitigation.
•Experience in defining and implementing effective management reporting
