| description: | We are looking for a motivated, team oriented individual who has proven ability to lead and train others and who possesses the drive to produce results!
As a Lead Hand and Trainer your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and coach a team of 10-20 production line workers packing food products and assembling retail store displays
- Train and motivate your staff to produce desirable results
- Ensure smooth operation from start to finish
- Check quality of product being packaged as well as final product to be shipped to store
- Ensure and enforce adherence to all health and safety procedures and processes
- Ensure all workers are wearing proper safety gear on the floor
- Be comfortable in basic troubleshooting of packing machine
- Report to General Manager all equipment and Production issues
- Responsible for daily paperwork
- Lead by example and promote a positive and enjoyable work atmosphere
- Work hand in hand with the Account Manager
- Other duties as required |

| qualifications: | What are we looking for in the Successful candidate?
- 2-3 years LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE in a production facility (food or pharmaceutical preferred)
- Knowledge of GMPs and SOPs in the related industries
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Problem Solving Abilities
- Ability to Lead and coach others for success
- Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, dynamic Environment
- Ability to Lift up-to 40 Pounds
- Experience in a Co-Packing environment is an asset
