Due to increased business, our Oakville client is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform cost studies and rate analysis.
Maintain database of approved rates
Prepare tariff increase revisions and measure impact
Prepare customer rate proposals
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate competitive data
Determined and highly motivated with ability to work with a diverse group of contributors
Self-sufficient with a preference for working in a fast paced, informal environment with an emphasis on professionalism and delivering results in a deadline oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer and analytical skills (Word, Excel with V-Lookups and Pivot tables)Demonstrated decision-making skills.
Flexible work style with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously within a deadline oriented function.
Strong knowledge of LTL, FTL rates and tariffs (Direct pricing of specialized flat bed, dry vans, cross border & domestic.
