Our client in Ottawa South (near Walkley Road) is looking for a General Labourer to join their team for the summer. The successful candidate MUST have their forklift certification and have experience with order picking.

Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Forklift ( Rough terrain and Counterbalance )
- Lifting, pushing and pulling of roof shingles and rolls of roofing
- Ship and receive product
- Verification of POs
- Basic inventory controls and stock warehouse
- Arrange product transport to meet tight deadlines
- Filing and maintaining own paperwork
- General warehouse work and clean-up and housekeeping
- Assisting in production and assembly duties
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable with receiving a drug test for illegal drugs
- Must have a current forklift certificate
- Must be comfortable lifting heavy material - 50 lbs
- Experience with rough terrain forklift is an asset
- Min 1-year shipping and receiving experience
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Prove stability in past employment
- Are able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have CSA-approved steel toe shoes or boots
