description:Our client, a small mortgage origination and servicing company located in Calgary's Downtown Core is searching for a Commercial Mortgage Underwriting Analyst to join their group on a permanent basis. The incumbent will support a team of two Business Development officers including the Manager and Vice President ensuring that both conventional and CMHC commercial loans are evaluated and recommended. Coordination of new loan applications, maintenance and updating of the database, processing of renewals, reporting, and monitoring monthly results will all fall into the incumbent's field of duties which ultimately support business development operations to increase and maintain profitability.

To qualify for this role, you must possess at least 3-5 years’ experience working within the commercial mortgage industry in a commercial mortgage underwriting, underwriting assistant, or underwriting administration type role. You must be comfortable supporting multiple business development officers and have a strong understanding of both conventional loan policies and CMHC loan policies. Experience with financial statement analysis and intermediate Excel experience are must haves.
