Our client, a Schedule II bank affiliated with an international bank, is hiring a Commercial Account Manager/Lending Officer to help build their first branch in the GTA in Thornhill. The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for helping to build the bank's presence in Ontario by growing its revenue through the sales of commercial loans, personal loans, mortgages, term deposits, and chequing/savings accounts.
To qualify for this role, you must possess at least 5-7 years experience in a banking branch sales role of a Big Five Canadian or international bank, and you must be a motivated self starter with strong client service and sales skills . You must understand retail and commercial banking products and possess sales acumen to help build the bank's client base and revenues from ground up. In addition to these required skills, it is necessary that the incumbent be bilingual in both English and Mandarin.
