Human Resources Coordinator
Located Toronto or Montreal

Randstad’s HR Fundamental’s team has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our group of hr superheroes, in a high impact team working in a fast-paced environment. An administrative guru, you will provide administrative and tactile support for employees across the organization by acting as the ‘face’ of the HR department – often the first point of contact to our employees when they join the company, or have any general inquiries. You are responsible for coordinating payroll data entry (not processing), benefits administration and assisting employees with our various leaves of absence programs. There is significant data entry and maintenance of electronic records in our HRIS in this role, and, you will partner with employees, the broader HR team and people managers to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

You are enthusiastic, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. You are passionate about helping other employees, but can also sit and focus on data entry for long periods of time. You are an expert at juggling multiple competing priorities without missing a beat, and ensure that everyone feels like our most important client. A consummate professional with high degree of integrity and attention to detail, you have the uncanny ability to make “magic happen”, even in the most unlikely of times/places.

What a typical day looks like:

While no two days are a like on the HR Fundamental’s team, on any given day you may be:
•Helping new employees complete their onboarding paperwork
•Setting up new employees in the payroll system, and ensuring any changes that occurred throughout the employee life cycle have been accurately entered into the HRIS
•Helping to track diversity and inclusion metrics
•Conducting a health and safety inspection of our Toronto office
•Leading a presentation on the different total rewards offerings available to employees
•Liaising with our 3rd party benefit provider to resolve employee issues
•As the person managing our Leave of Absence process, you may help an expectant mother apply for our Maternity leave program, or a sick employee apply for short term disability benefits

What set’s you apart:

•Outstanding customer service skills
•Perfectly bilingual in English & in French
•Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail
•2 years or more of database management with experience in HRIS/payroll data entry bonus if you know JD Edwards
•Knowledge of provincial employment legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights)
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word)
•Gmail & Google suite
