Internal Communications Specialist - 1-year contract (maternity leave replacement)

As Internal Communications Specialist (1-year contract, maternity leave replacement), you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to achieve the strategic objectives of our innovative and people-driven organization!

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal communications strategies and tactics to drive employee engagement and articulate our brand story in a compelling manner.
- Draft, revise, edit, produce and distribute a variety of communication tools intended for target internal audiences.
- Identify and develop brand ambassadors by providing them with relevant content and recommending best methods and channels to reach targeted external audiences.
- Leverage social media platforms to engage employees and showcase brand culture.
- Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders within our different lines of business and corporate departments to achieve specific internal engagement objectives and align strategies.
- Manage production of communication projects with team members and external partners (project managers, designers and digital experts, writers, translators and partner agencies).
- Monitor, analyze and report success of internal communication initiatives and recommend adjustments and improvements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or journalism or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant communications experience (experience in the services industry is an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and French (mandatory)
- Positive attitude, creativity, customer oriented focus, with good multitasking, project management and organisational ability.
- Demonstrates flexibility and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong team player with proven ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- Very high attention to detail and excellent presentation skills.
