Location: Downtown Toronto-Bay Street

Permanent, full-time opportunity
***Ability to work on rotating shift between 8h00 am to 6h00 pm EST ***

Calling all Technical Support Representatives, Randstad Toronto is growing!

You are known for your strong communication skills and familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques?


We are searching for a Technical Support Representative in Toronto to provide technical assistance to our corporate users within Randstad across 60 branches all over Canada.

A day in the life of a Technical Support Representative:

•50% Handle user requests via our ticketing system, phone or walk-ins regarding any IT related issues
•Actively listen and ask logical questions to acquire facts to understand the user’s needs
•Guide non-technical users with simple, step-by-step instructions
•Properly document in detail the events of each request
•15% Conduct onsite as well as remote troubleshooting where the business requires (only driver’s license required)
•15% Prepare hardware for deployment to business to help users obtain sales objectives
•10% Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional and to collect user feedback
•5% Help create, update and maintain knowledge base, procedures, processes to improve departmental functions
•5% Available to work light overtime when required
•Work with other cross functional departments to receive added support

Do you have what it takes:
•Minimum 2 years of technical support capacity in a desktop environment
•Minimum post-secondary diploma preferably in Computer Science
•English - fluent
•French - nice to have
•IT Certifications an asset
•ITIL experience an asset
