Responsibilities
The accounting assistant's tasks will be:
Enter all incoming cash receipts into the system and allocate accordingly
Liaise with banks any transaction queries
Communicate with vendors invoice queries and collection of cheques
File and scanning of A/P, cash receipts and bill edits
Prepare bank reconciliations
Assist with month end and year end reporting and prepare non-routine analysis of specific accounts
Code, enter and process all A/P invoices and coordinate payments to vendors
Qualifications
Relevant experience in the accounting field
Have a DCS or equivalent diploma in the field
Excellent time management, organization, prioritization and communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Knowledge of computers and an ERP software
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
