Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
-General Ledger Management:
Supervise the GL team, ensuring accurate financial transaction recording, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
Maintain the chart of accounts and implement internal controls for data integrity.
-Accounts receivable transaction management:
-Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and review financial statements and conduct variance analysis.
Assist in regulatory filings and external audits.
-Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Facilitate internal and external audits and enhance financial controls.
-Team Development:
Provide leadership and mentorship to enhance team members' skills and performance.
Set performance goals and promote a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Bachelors in accounting with a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role
Or a CPA with a minimum of 5 years exp.
Min 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
Experience in manufacturing ( required ) and multi-national companies ( an asset )
Experience in transfer pricing and FX ( an Asset )
Good communication
Strong English written and spoken and functional French
Trilingual ( Fr-Eng-Spanish ) is an asset
