Responsibilities
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for multiple legal entities.
• Handle periodic GST/PST filings for diverse legal entities.
• Prepare and manage all government and regulatory submissions.
• Organize the preparation of cheques, bank wires, and payments within the AP cycle.
• Perform daily verification, reconciliation, and update of investment portfolio transactions using the software platform.
• Support the monthly reconciliation of brokerage accounts within the investment portfolio.
• Assist in preparing monthly accruals and journal entries for the closure of the general ledger and financial records.
• Maintain an orderly and structured filing system for documents and files associated with all legal entities.
Qualifications
•College or Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or relevant experience
•Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
•Bilingual (French and English)
•Ability to work under a multi-company structure
•Team and service-oriented
•Organized and attentive to detail
•In-depth knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
