Responsibilities
Review vendor invoices for proper documentation and approval.
Enter invoices into the accounting system with accurate application of taxes, expense codes, and cost centers.
Verify and update vendor information.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies through reconciliation of statements.
Process employee expense claims according to company policy.
Organize and maintain thorough documentation.
Ensure timely payments for approved invoices and place purchase orders as needed.
Support negotiations with vendors and assist with other special projects as needed.
Reconcile inter-company accounts and assist with year-end audits and tax returns.
Manage confidential data with discretion.
Generate reports as requested by management.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including expense classification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP Financial experience is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage tasks independently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
