We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist in the Burlington area. This fully in-office, full-time permanent position that will involve AP, AR, Journal Entries, bank reconciliations, as well as other accounting duties.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with full cycle accounting, is highly organized, detail-oriented with strong communication skills and is experienced with various software, as well as intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities
- Oversee full cycle AP and AR process
- Processing a high volume of 50-100 AP daily
- Cash management
- Completing Journal entries
- Monthly bank/visa reconciliation and analysis of accounts and variances
- Support the Financial Manager in bookkeeping and preparing financial reports
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, enter data for budget and expenses
- Investigate all discrepancies with invoice totals and work with the company to clean up accounts
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners to build loyalty to the Broker and Team
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of full cycle accounting-related experience
- Computer skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience in a specific of various accounting systems
- Bachelor’s Degree or Business Administration Diploma preferred
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
