Your Mission: Financial Excellence
As our Accounting Administrator, you'll be entrusted with overseeing the full spectrum of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks. Your role goes beyond the mundane; it's about orchestrating financial harmony. From managing the day-to-day financial operations to orchestrating month-end accounting, your contributions will be instrumental.
Primary Responsibilities: A Glimpse Into Your Role
Your duties are diverse and exciting, encompassing:
Financial Choreography: Ensuring the seamless processing of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the financial pulse of the organization with precision and accuracy.
Invoicing Maestro: Carefully validating invoices against purchase orders, with an eagle eye for approvals when needed, and ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Data Symphony: Preparing batches of invoices for entry, masterfully conducting the weekly cheque run, and obtaining approvals that make financial transactions sing.
Vendor and Client Virtuoso: Building and nurturing strong relationships with our valued vendors and clients, maintaining meticulous vendor/client files, and harmonizing billing systems with client-specific procedures.
Financial Detectives: Conducting consistent follow-ups on collections, meticulously recording activities in shared spreadsheets, and resolving customer queries through account reconciliation and adjustments.
Financial Watchdog: Monitoring customer accounts for any irregularities, including non-payments and delayed payments, ensuring the financial score is always in tune.
Data Composer: Creating and maintaining both permanent and current orders in accounts receivable customer files.
Communication Expert: Engaging with customers via various channels—phone, email, mail, or in-person—to foster strong client relationships.
Insightful Virtuoso: Providing insightful analysis reports on customer activity, contributing to strategic financial decisions.
Communication Hub: Managing incoming inquiries, directing calls, and messages effectively within the company, keeping the lines of communication open.
Team Player: Assisting the Finance department by meticulously filing invoices, matching purchase orders, and verifying billing to ensure a harmonious financial operation.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who is the right fit but also has the following qualifications:
· College Diploma
· Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable related experience
· Working knowledge with credit portal/release on any ERP system
· Enjoys a social and fun team
