Responsibilities
As an Accounts Receivable - Collections Specialist in Surrey you will:
-Proactively follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments and identify potential delinquencies.
-Maintain customer accounts within agreed-upon terms, ensuring compliance and minimizing overdue balances.
-Prepare and distribute account statements to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-Reconcile customer accounts as necessary, addressing discrepancies and ensuring proper account management.
-Accurately post payments received via checks, credit cards, or EFT to customer accounts.
-Occasionally handle client refunds, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
-Perform bank runs as needed to support the finance team.
Qualifications
-3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable collections.
-Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on resolution and client satisfaction.
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
