Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle and execute file management requests, ensuring accurate status updates for files.
- Initiate the creation of new files and manage the process of invoicing for payment.
- Collaborate with the practice management system to systematically log and record documents.
- Execute comprehensive file management and housekeeping procedures to ensure continuous electronic filing accuracy.
- Recognize, categorize, and process key documents within electronic files.
- Fulfill archive retrieval requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain an orderly work environment in all designated areas.
- Communicate effectively with agents and clients regarding reminders and upcoming deadlines.
Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Law Clerk, Paralegal or Legal Administration diploma
- A minimum of 1 year administrative experience in an office environment
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Flexible and enthusiastic
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
