Responsibilities
This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Business Applications. The primary duties and functions of this senior role is to:
•Manage the delivery of IT Solutions and Technology that drive efficiencies or improve processes within the organization.
•Design, create and monitor the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems using a large variety of technologies.
•Ensure that all planned and in-place system architectures are aligned with the specific yearly and long-term goals.
•Provide leadership for the on-going technical design support for application, web-based, and database services.
•Provide technical design and development expertise for the successful implementation and delivery of IT solutions, data, and infrastructure services for various projects and initiatives.
•Rationalize and integrate application, infrastructure, and data services.
•Determine application requirements for new applications and related data, ensuring the best possible alignment with existing platforms, infrastructure, and database services.
•Support and implement application / solution management best practices, and procedures, as required.
•Support and implement data and information management best practices and procedures, as required.
•Support and implement IT security and Cybersecurity best practices, procedures, and risk mitigation measures, as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
•University Degree in Computer Science or related degree such as Software Engineering, and 5 years of full-time experience; or
•Computer Technology Diploma, and 7 years of full-time experience; or
•Application Development Certifications, and 9 years of full-time experience.
Other Experience
•5 Years managing databases and data warehouses.
Amount of Supervision
•Work Independently.

•Direction from Senior Manager, Business Applications
