Advantages
- Long term postion with 40 hours per week
- Competitive wages up to $22 hourly
- Monday to Friday, with overtime available
- Straight day shift, Monday to Friday
- Hands-on, technical role - lots of variety
Responsibilities
- You will be building industrial mixers and pumps from blueprints
- Performing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Assembling large rotating equipment and parts onto their mounts
- Completes fit-up, welding, grinding, deburring, and polishing operations
- Using hand and power tools, overhead cranes and blow torches
- Perform quality checks and testing as building machinery
- Utilizing computer programs to document process and inventory
- Maintaining operating equipment on a weekly basis
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience with assembly and building of equipment
- Familiarity with Duplex, Ni-hard, Alloy 20 is an asset
- Mechanically savvy, with exposure to working on; impellers, motors, gearboxes, pumps, rotating equipment, shaft alignment, etc. an asset
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Able to weld, inspect and make part modifications when needed
- Computer savvy, able to learn new programs
- Effective communicators to coordinate between departments
