Duration: 12 month contract with possibility of permanence

Responsibilities
The Assistant-Controller will be responsible for providing critical support to the financial control functions while helping to maintain the financial integrity of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the general accounting team
- Participates in the production of financial reports required at the end of each month
- Analyzes financial data
- Keeps financial data up to date by identifying and explaining variances
- Provides support to managers by participating in various files and strategic projects as needed
- Develops optimized analysis models to facilitate decision-making.
- Travel 2-3 weeks/year for a special project in the USA
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- CPA, a major asset
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to take initiative
- Be Bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Demonstrate leadership
- Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
