A leading international technology company with an office in Mississauga is looking for an AutoCAD Drafter to join their team. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career in drafting and mechanical design!
This is a temporary 3-month contract position, with the potential for extensions and long-term opportunities

Responsibilities
As an AutoCAD Drafter for this great company located in Mississauga, a normal day would include:
- Updating mechanical system layouts for conveyors and sorting systems, working closely with the Engineering Lead
- Reading and reviewing mechanical drawings for accuracy
- Identifying and correcting errors in existing designs and drawings
- Collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure the success of various projects
Qualifications
Who is the perfect match for this position?
- Experience with AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D), including the use of cross-references and importing block functions.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take direction
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined or a background in mechanical engineering (preferred but not necessary)
- Comfortable using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
