Responsibilities
* Analyze and solve hardware and software problems on various technology platforms related to Allen Bradley PLCs and its Rockwell software suite, including RSLogix5000, Studio5000 and FactoryTalk View ;
* Install, configure, maintain and upgrade customer systems directly at their plant or remotely via VPN connection;
* Receive requests (incidents, change requests or requests for information) transmitted by telephone, Internet or e-mail;
* Follow up requests with the team and customer users;
* Monitor customer user satisfaction;
* Contribute to customer user training;
* Develop, compile, write, distribute and update technical documentation, references and procedures (knowledge base);
* Participate in the development of work procedures and incident management processes, as well as in any projects where his/her expertise is required;
* Work with production and engineering departments to solve various system problems;
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or automated production or equivalent training or DEC
* Minimum 2 years' experience in automation;
* Knowledge of Allen-Bradley products and Rockwell software;
* Knowledge of electromechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics;
* Knowledge of robotics (asset)
* Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic diagrams;
* Computer and networking skills (an asset)
* Intermediate level of English;
