Responsibilities
Collaborate with the VP of HR to understand project objectives and requirements related to employee data management.
Utilize Power BI and the Microsoft BI stack to develop and maintain interactive dashboards for analyzing employee location data.
Analyze employee data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform resource allocation decisions.
Translate data results into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Develop data models, with preference given to experience in creating SSAS Tabular Models.
Work independently to gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as required, providing insights and recommendations to support HR decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and IT, to ensure data integrity and alignment with project objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR data analytics and reporting.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, or similar role.
Strong expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft BI stack, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power View.
Demonstrated experience in developing interactive dashboards and providing data-driven analytics.
Proficiency in data modeling, preferably with experience in creating SSAS Tabular Models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal direction and take ownership of projects.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
