Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Bilingual Collections Agent for a 12 month contract in Saint John NB. This is a hybrid role must go onsite 2 days per week on Mondays and Wednesday. There is a high possibility of conversion to full time opportunity.

Pay rate: $22.00 / Hour
Working hours: Must work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, can choose between either Thursday or Friday, and must work Saturdays.
Shifts could vary between the hours of 11-11 ATL (10-10 EST)

Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Collections Agent, your duties will include but not limited to:
- Answer internal inbound calls regarding billing and payment inquiries from the Sales and Service Team.
- Calls often require the ability to troubleshoot by evaluating payment history and reviewing online invoices.
- Processes all payments, refunds and collections for Insurance. Delinquency and Collections processes include creating and validating delinquency letters, preparing registered letters and outbound calls to customers to reschedule payments.
- Refunds or credits to clients may be system issued or by cheque.
- Transnational work is typically distributed via email or shared folders.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Able to communicate with clients (written and verbal communication skills)
- Attention to detail – verifying amounts for clients
- Flexible – open to change
- Able to handle difficult conversations
- Time management
- 1+ years relevant experience
NICE TO HAVE:
- Bilingual – fluent French – (reading/writing/verbal)
- Computer literacy skills
- Phone experience – in any industry preferred
- Customer service experience – preferred
- financial industry experience
