The Human Resources Manager will play a central role in fostering collaboration and leadership in HR activities within Canada, with a focus on maintaining consistency and excellence of HR services for Canadian leaders and managers. Moreover, this individual will serve as a strategic business partner to assist the Canadian arm’s business management.

In this HR Manager role in Burlington, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement people strategy for Canada, support organizational development projects, and aid in acquisition integration and change management activities. Implement business strategies and group people strategy according to guidance.
- Customize and develop HR programs to meet local needs, partner with local management.
- Assist Area Management in understanding and communicating pay decisions, advises on total reward matters, and guides incentive programs.
- Help identify skill gaps in respective Areas, ensure completion of talent management process, and facilitate succession planning and career path utilization.
- Manage Union relationships, advocate for employees through HR initiatives, oversee employee engagement initiatives, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and guide disciplinary processes.
- Champion global diversity & inclusion initiatives and collaborate with Area Management to enhance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Qualifications

In this HR Manager role in Burlington, we are looking for the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of human resources, of which at least 3 years should be in a role as an HR Manager ideally within the manufacturing or a related industry.
- Experience working in a unionized environment.
- Bilingual in both English and French, highly desired.
