Responsibilities
- Client Support: Provide superior customer service by handling pre- and post-closing requests, addressing calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Document Review: Process Property Information Forms, Notices of Change, and follow-up tasks according to lender guidelines and service standards.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all lender and solicitor conditions are satisfied before approving fund release and after reviewing final documents.
- Issuing COIs: Accurately issue Certificates of Insurance (COI) in a timely manner.
- Risk Mitigation: Stay updated on underwriting practices, collaborating with the underwriting team to manage risks.
- Reporting: Provide lenders with regular updates on file status, including completed and outstanding items.
- Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance by meeting audit standards and maintaining precise records.
- Record Maintenance: Keep internal systems updated with accurate and detailed file notes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in mortgage processing or managing real estate files from start to finish is strongly preferred.
- Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English is required.
