Responsibilities
The Employee Enablement, Remote Access Services team is responsible for providing Innovation, Design, Execution and Maintenance solutions for a variety of technology products.
The selected candidate will need to evaluate new products, create roadmaps, strategies, conduct proof of concept work, and develop business cases for the adoption of new products.
This will be a mixture of hands-on role as well as a high-level strategy role that requires the qualified candidate to have knowledge on a broad spectrum of technologies.
“Thinker role”. Manager needs a candidate who has successfully assessed new technologies to assess its viability/value/ and how/if it can be implemented across multiple business lines by evaluating new products, creating roadmaps, strategies, conducting proof of concept work, and developing business cases for the adoption of new products.
Our technology domain is workspace/end user compute, and we are responsible for technologies in the following areas:
Virtual Apps and Desktops/Containerization– Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix CVAD Cloud (Control Plane) Service, Windows Virtual Desktop, FSlogix; Windows 10; Image Management
Remote access - NetScaler ADC,
Application Services – SCCM, SharePoint, TEAMs
Endpoint OS – Windows 10, Windows 11, OSX, iOS, Android
Mobility –BlackBerry, AirWatch, Intune, MDM/MAM, JAMF
Productivity & Collaboration – Office 365/ ProPlus, TEAMs, Exchange, SMTP gateways, anti-virus/anti-spam, compliance/journaling
Group Policies
Network Segmentation, Firewalls and System Isolation
Good Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud
Qualifications
3 years - Evaluate new products, create roadmaps, strategies, conduct proof of concept work, and develop business cases for the adoption of new products (Please indicate who, what, where, when this one does as this is the key in finding the find profile)
3 years - Candidate completed market research on new technology for large enterprise
3 years - Drive creation of technology roadmaps, and strategy
3 years - Create high level design documents such as System Design Specifications, BOMS (Bill of materials); estimated hardware, software, and resourcing costs.
3 years - Assess product capabilities and features, ensure multiple technologies are not providing overlapping capabilities, and driving down technology complexity, and driving costs reductions –
5 years - experience as a hands-on Solutions Architect / Infrastructure Architect
Proven experience in design, planning and delivery of (Citrix) platform uplifts & application, profile (and user data) migrations.
Strong understanding of Network firewalls and firewall rules (Palo Alto, NSX, other)
Citrix CVAD (formerly XenApp & Xen Desktop) 5+ yrs
O365 2 yrs
Azure 2 yrs
Windows 10 - 2 yrs
SCCM - 4 yrs
Group Policy - 4 yrs
Windows/Terminal services profile management - 3 yrs
Experienced with profile management technologies (FSlogix, Citrix UPM, Roaming Profiles Appsense, UE-V), App-V and application packages.
Cloud technologies 365/Azure, Citrix Cloud; cloud identities and federation
Nice to Haves:
Intune - 2 yrs
VMware ESX - 3 yrs
Identity and access management - 2 yrs
FSLogix experience
Windows Virtual Desktop and hybrid cloud experience
Banking/Financial Industry experience
Scripting and or other automation skills (e.g. PowerShell)
Analytical skills such as PowerBI, Power Query will be an asset.
