Responsibilities
-Respond to and direct inquiries from customers, brokers, insurance carriers and internal staff.
-Process weekly and monthly reports as required.
-Process new requests in various systems, and enter them into the system. Enter data into systems and maintain records.
-Receive claims transaction data and record in appropriate system.
-Provide instructions on how to proceed with claims.
-Work in collaboration with the company's various departments.
-Pay claims such as windshield repair and replacement.
-Prepare weekly deposits and printing of claims cheques, scanning and preparing for mailing.
-Ensure that the claims portal is kept up to date.
Qualifications
-Secondary or post-secondary education completed
-More than one year's administrative experience, preferably in the financial and/or insurance sector.
-Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
-Detail-oriented and process-oriented
-Excellent communication skills and customer focus
-Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Bilingualism in French and English an asset
-Good computer skills in Word, Excel
