- Flexible hours of work are Monday through Friday from approximately 9-5 PM (you would work a 40-hour workweek encompassing travel time to and from sites)

Responsibilities
Clinical Consultant Pharmacist - Victoria, BC
- Ensuring compliance with BC College of Pharmacy requirements
- Ensuring service excellence in pharmacy service delivery at long-term care homes by educating and consulting with nurses and other HCPs
- Conducting medication reviews and auditing distribution
- Demonstrating leadership and collaborative abilities in order to establish strong relationships with partner organizations
- Visiting homes as required in order to perform clinical consulting responsibilities, in addition to providing clinical services virtually or by phone
- Collaborating with all pharmacy team members to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner
- Completing daily tasks following workplace policies and procedures
- Consulting with pharmacy management on unresolved issues
- Conducting medication regimen/profile reviews and documents recommendations
- Assisting in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
- Participating in training and support for pharmacy team members and engages in continuing education
- Preparing the compounding medications as needed and maintains a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Clinical Consultant Pharmacist - Victoria, BC
- Licensed Pharmacist in BC and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy (recent grads are encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships and providing excellent service for all patients
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
- As travel is a requirement for this position, possession of a vehicle and valid driver's license are mandatory
- Injection certification is preferred
- Ability to work productively in an autonomous role
- Computer savvy, ideally with experience using Kroll; other proprietary computer system(s) will be used and training provided
