Monday - Friday
$18 - 25.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
- As a Laser Operator you will be responsible for setting up and operating the laser machine to produce precise parts
- Working alongside teammates, you will be helping to ensure a safe and clean work space and ensuring that all work areas are maintained
- You will be completing quality control checks on parts as needed
Qualifications
- At least ONE (1) year of experience in operating laser cutting machines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong ability to follow instructions
- Ability to utilize and understand various computer programs
- Ability to read blueprints in a variety of formats
- Basic knowledge and ability to interpret mechanical drawings
- Experience in using various measuring instruments including but not limited to gauge instruments, calipers and micrometers
- Ability to maintain any and all equipment and machinery in excellent working condition in accordance with internal company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety as it pertains to the role and working environment
