This client has over 50 manufacturing locations worldwide, and is seeking an individual experienced in the analysis of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical safety standards and regulations, such as: CE, UKCA, CSA, UL, OSHA, and others.

Responsibilities
-Machine design review
-Recommend design modifications to ensure with all compliance and safety standards
-Perform risk assessments in accordance with ISO 12100:2010 standards
-Strong documentation skills and experience
-Provide internal training and guidance with regards to compliance
-Collaborate with external testing and certification bodies
-Cross functional collaboration; design engineers, product managers, quality assurance
Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering disciplines
-P. Eng an asset
-CMSE an asset
-Familiarity with ISO standards related to risk assessment and safety management systems
-Microsoft Office Suite
-AutoCAD familiarity
