Responsibilities
- To compound all varieties of bulk
- Weigh chemicals accurately
- Return unused chemicals to proper location after use
- Make adjustments to batches as per the lab or manufacturing supervisor
- Take samples to lab in a timely fashion
- Documentation of the following:
-Lot # on batch sheet
- Locations on batch sheet for each raw material
- Enter batch into the log on the computer
- Assign lot # for the batch
-Record actual usage on batch sheet
-Report spills or mistakes immediately to your supervisor
-Report all faulty and broken equipment to your supervisor
-Locate incoming raw materials when required and document
- Wash and clean tanks when required
- Update work in progress board as needed
-Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or another manger
- All employees are responsible for safety quality
-All employees are responsible to report safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
Qualifications
-Must have 2 years experience working in chemical manufacturing,Cosmetic or personal care industry
- Able to lift 5 lbs. to 35 lbs.
- Must speak, read and write English
-Ability to follow chemical batch sheets
- Maintain fast work pace
- Flexible working hours
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
Exposure to chemicals of various types
Exposure to vibration, noise and heights
Equipment Use:
Mixers, pumps, homoginizer and metering equipment
Sit down towmotor /Narrow Isle Reach
Scales
Dust collector
