Our client in Ville Saint-Laurent is currently looking for an experienced SMB Financial Controller to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role in Canada and will report directly to the president.

Responsibilities
Monthly bank reconciliations
Tracking of deposits and disbursements
Preparing journal entries related to bank
Preparing, validating, and posting of journal entries
Accounts Payable support
Review invoices received and perform matching procedures vs purchase orders and receipt documents
Clarify and explain exceptions if any
Process credit card statements within 1-2 weeks of issuance
Process expense reports and manage any issue arising from such reports
Assist with cheque / EFT runs
Monthly GST/HST/PST returns
Run payroll on ADP
Assist with year-end audit
Supervision de 2 personnes en comptabilité
Qualifications
Bachelors in accounting + 3-5 years exp. in a similar role
- CPA ( an asset )
- Bilingual (asset)
- Experience with the software Advantage (asset)
