They are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting operations and guide the financial health of the business. This full-time, permanent role will lead a dedicated team of accounting professionals and play a key role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving process improvements to support continued growth and success.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to reduce risk and maintain compliance
- Produce accurate financial statements and management reports
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; recommend strategies to improve financial performance
- Conduct financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital investments, and contract negotiations
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure readiness for annual audits
- Support integration of enterprise systems across regions
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA or CMA designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions considered an asset
