Responsibilities
Responsible for the accounting department you will overseas the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate production of management reports and financial statements.
As such you will:
Perform monthly financial closing, provide financial reports, and interpret financial information
• Oversee and support AP/AR Clerks
• Coordinating activities of external auditors
• Prepare and file all governmental remittances monthly/yearly ( HST, GST, etc. )
• Strong Cash flow management
• Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
• Managing the budget process
• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
Foster a positive, harmonious and professional work environment

Qualifications
Postgraduate education in accounting or business with 5 to 7 years of exp
CPA designation ( a strong asset )
Min 3 to 5 years of experience in a management position
Strong Excel skills
Experience with an ERP ( such as; Netsuite, GP, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, J.D..Edwards, etc.)
Bilingual( strong english)
