Job Title: Corporate Controller
Location : Montreal (Hybrid)
Salary : 100K-125K depending on experience
Duration: 12 mois

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Corporate Controller coordinates the accounting department. In addition, as a member of the management team, this person is actively involved in making the necessary operating decisions.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and coordinate all operational functions related to accounting.
- Manage the accumulation and reconciliation of all financial data necessary to perform accounting for consolidated corporate results accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts
- Evaluate current accounting activities, offer recommendations for improvement and implement new processes
- Oversees the accounting and financial management of the company, including the preparation of financial statements and periodic financial reports
- Ensure the management and forecasting of the group for cash, weekly analysis and analysis of currency needs
- Manage the accounting and financial team as well as staff evaluation
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by his/her superior.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- CPA or CFA designation, a major asset
- Be Bilingual (French and English) and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
