As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be talking to various customers (b2b) with questions about their ophthalmic lens orders, deliveries and so on.
Since you'll be answering complex questions from eyecare professionals, this position requires experience in the optical field.
The salary offered as a customer service representative is between 23$ to 28$ per hour, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 2 weeks' vacation, RSP plan, free parking and accessible by public transport.

Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding order requests, product questions, warranty claims.
- Help customers place orders, verify details and ensure that orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Inform customers about products and promotions, and offer technical assistance and product support to customers experiencing difficulties.
- Complete order entry into the company system, coordinate with other departments such as logistics or production, and communicate order status to customers.
- Update files/ensure that changes are made accordingly.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or problems efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service and telephone sales
- Must have worked in the eyewear lens industry, or as a certified optician.
- Passion for the optical and vision care industry
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and French.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and order-taking software (DVI)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail (one mistake can have serious consequences!)
- Someone who can take initiative, as the majority of the customer service team is located in Toronto.
- The candidate must have knowledge of advanced optical concepts such as prismatic decentering
prescription transformations, etc.
