Responsibilities
• Order-Entry using Transportation Management System (TMW Truckmate)
• Track and Trace all shipments throughout the transit time to ensure that we have full visibility of the shipment
• Confidently problem solve issues such as a missed pick-up, late delivery, damaged freight or incorrect billing
• Escalate any unsolved issues that may arise
• Coordinate with shippers and consignees to meet all client’s requirements
• Manage Client Portals with timely updates to keep our clients informed of shipment status
• Work with the Finance Department to ensure the billing cycle can be completed
Qualifications
• Minimum 1-year experience in Customer Service from industries such as FedEx, Amazon, Purolator. (asset)
• Driven and competitive nature.
• Quality/customer focus, empathy, and an ability to maintain and build lasting-relationships, is a must.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve all issues.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Fluency in French and English, oral and written, is required (since we do business with clients based in Canada and the United States, knowledge of both languages is not only important but a major asset for us).
