As a dental administrator, you'll be the first person patients engage with when they enter, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, correspond with the office via email or phone, perform data entry using different dental softwares, and more. To be successful in this role, you must be someone who is highly motivated, a team player, and have worked in dental environments before! Having strong leadership skills, the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment, and work well under pressure are all assets.

Responsibilities
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative and clerical support
- Engaging in email, phone, and fax correspondence
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Coordinating meetings and staff events
- Maintenance of client database records
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
Qualifications
- At least 1-year experience in a dental setting is preferred
- Experience in a healthcare environment is considered an asset
- Organizational and administrative skills required to perform activities in a deadline-driven environment, working with constant interruptions
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel)
- Ability to receive direction from multiple individuals
- Ability to deal with varying personalities of internal and external clients / patients, caregivers and healthcare providers
