- Salary $45000-$55000

Responsibilities
- Check with any crews that have ON DAY/ON TIME orders to ensure they are on track, tracking/tracing the crews throughout the day
- Organize work orders into routes – keeping in mind service areas, timed calls, number of stops, freight dimensions/weights, etc
- Ensure all of the paperwork from the prior day is checked in using the driver’s manifest.
- Print all of the manifests for the current day in preparation for the daily check in.
- DISP/DEPARTDOCK all of the trips for the current day
- Ensure to check the Precall and complete any precalls necessary
- Complete updates in the portal as they are texted/called in from the crews
- As the paperwork is handed in during the day, complete the remaining updates in the Portal and close out the trips.
- Print all of the manifests for the following day into One Note for tracking purposes
- Print the manifests for the warehouse so they can stage orders for load out in the morning
- Before you leave for the day, ensure ALL orders in Future Activities have been planned for the next day
- Follow up on any emails requiring a response by customers, CS, Management, etc.
- And all other related task.
Qualifications
At least 1 year in Dispatch or Customer Service in the Transport or Distribution industry
Looking for someone who is self-motivated
Good geographical knowledge of Quebec and Ottawa is an asset
Someone who is good at solving problems
Bilingual (spoken and written fluently)
Dynamic, passionate and not afraid to make errors
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Working in a fast pace environment
Organizable and time management is important to be succesfull
