Responsibilities
- Schedule technicians for service work, including coordination of technician availability, parts and preparation of estimates
- Prepare estimates as required
- Handle customer requests, concerns and disputes
- Ensure prompt communication with the customer
- Enter maintenance schedules and agreements with contractors
- Issue and receive purchase orders
- Process service orders
- Research warranty coverage for field repairs
- Prepare billing reports on a semi-monthly basis
- Research the latest information on emissions control
- Ensure field risk assessments are completed and signed off
- Ensure that machine repairs are carried out promptly
- Assist employees in other departments as required
- Support the department manager with regard to National Safety Code requirements for the fleet
- Participate in any required health and safety training.
- Adhere to health and safety program and practices
- Perform daily duties in a manner that promotes a safe work environment
- Comply with policies and procedures
- All other related duties
Qualifications
- Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Great organizational skills
- French & English bilingualism is required
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to pay close attention to details
- Experience/expertise in diesel mechanics is preferred.
