As an E&I Technician, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor in supporting our facility. Our ideal candidate believes in setting and achieving high standards, is innovative when it comes to trouble-shooting and who can collaborate with others to provide continuous improvement opportunities.
Job Description
- Maintain the production lines to ensure they are always in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and repair the production lines to maintain high operating efficiency
- PLC programming and maintenance
- Assist in development and improvement projects for all machines and support equipment
- Work with contractors to ensure that work is safely and efficiently carried out
- Possess an Associate's Degree in Automation Engineering Technology or equivalent degree is required
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives, PLC and Servo Systems
- Ability to perform E&I maintenance and construction on low and medium voltage electrical systems
- Experience using E&I test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes and ammeters
- Familiar with principles of measurement, calibration and control of pressure, temperature, flow, level consistency, PH etc.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with other departments as part of a team
- Shifts are either straight 8 hour day shifts or rotating 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, etc.) with potential for overtime
- Starting wage of $27.03 / hour starting wage with room to improve based on completion of levels
