Responsibilities
•Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices in operation; dismantle/examine devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair or replace defective parts.
•Set-up and operate shop machinery such as lathe, power tools, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder.
•Use hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify/repair parts.
•Install new or repair/modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Qualifications
•3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
•442A or 309A Industrial Electrician License
•Will also consider equivalent from a two-year College or technical school in maintenance mechanics or related field
•Knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, complex machine controls and instrumentation, complex welding/brazing, hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics
