accounting while working hand in hand with cost accountants. You need to be career driven while doing your 40-45 hours a week, not looking for someone who will live at the office. This role is 100% on-site at Ville St-Laurent ( easy access, parking ) but has the capability of working from home for those off days, sick days, Daycare shutdown days, etc.

Base Salary $80-85K
yearly Bonus up to 10% ( last 5 years paid on average at 5-7%)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Controller you will ;
-Lead month-end close, collaborate to produce and review the financial statements
-Build and maintain managerial reports to help the business manage the cost of operations and other KPI
- Analyze and report on monthly, quarterly, and year-end variances.
-Maintain oversight of capital expenditures
-Perform journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and sales tax filings.
-Support cash flow forecasting, treasury, and hedging functions.
-Participate in the strategic budget process
-Provide support for requirements related to the annual financial audit, tax returns and internal audit.
-Researching accounting issues for compliance with IFRS
-Other ad-hoc projects as may be required in the role.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in either an accounting firm or industry
CPA designation or Pre-CPA ( CFE successfully passed)
Strong excel skills
IFRS experience is considered an asset.
Strong English reporting environment with some French required
