Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the company's annual budget and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and identifying variances.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.
Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and monitor manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to optimize profitability.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including cash flow projections, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws, and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, making recommendations for risk avoidance or mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5 yrs + exp as a controller
CPA is preferred
Bilingual ( strong English with above functional French)
Must have experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, etc.)
experience in managing a team
