Responsibilities
●Unload and load trucks;
●Scan the pallets in the Unilever system;
●Store raw material pallets in the warehouse according to system rentals;
●Identify internal quality control issues (damaged products);
●Responsible for the quality of daily work;
●Work with standard operating procedures and health & safety procedures;
●Enter the data into the computer system;
●Driving forklifts
●Communicate problems encountered while on duty regularly with colleagues on other shifts;
●Keep the warehouse clean and in order;
●Close key equipment when not in use;
●Participate in the training of new employees during their hours of work;
●Do the picking pallets for the truck loads;
●Other tasks may be assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
●High school diploma or equivalent (reading, writing, and mathematics);
●Ability to operate forklifts
●General computer literacy
●Knowledge of MSDS and WHMIS;
●Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds (ca. 14 kg).
Aptitudes:
●Bilingualism is an asset;
●Ease of communication and organizational sense;
●Be flexible and have no difficulty working as a team;
●Ease of learning and following instructions
●Manual dexterity required to operate machinery;
●Strong sense of responsibility and independence;
●Knowledge of inventory issues and the ability to address them.
