We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join the team of a thriving seafood processing company in Richmond, BC!
What you need to know:
Position: Temporary to permanent
Role: Forklift Operator - 50% operating & 50% on the floor
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift Time: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (30 min unpaid lunch + 2 x 15 min breaks)

Payrate: $21-$25/hr depending on experience
* Forklift certification mandatory*
*Must be legally permitted to work full-time in BC, Canada

Responsibilities
50% forklift operations + 50% on the floor
* Loading/unloading totes
* Assisting in the organization of incoming stock
* Order picking, building skids, and staging shipments
* Shipping/Receiving
* Pallet wrapping
* Maintaining a neat, safe, and orderly work area
* Safe operation of forklift in small/confined spaces
Qualifications
* Must have a SDCB forklift ticket
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in shipping & receiving in a warehouse setting
* Previous experience in the seafood industry is an asset
* Must have own steel toe boots
* Excellent communication skills required
*Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Keen attention to detail
