Forklift Operator

- Full time ongoing work
- Temporary to permanent job opportunity
- 12-Hour Continental Shift - days and nights
- Pay Rate: $21.38/hr

Responsibilities
• Operate lifting devices, i.e. Counterbalance Forklift
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms and lifting devices
• Ensure material handling equipment is safe and functioning correctly
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation
• Ensure all production tags are accurate for inventory and that material is stacked and stored properly
• Support production needs as needed
• Able to perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications
• Ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of forklift experience and material handling in a manufacturing environment
• Valid forklift license is an asset
• Clear communication skills written & verbal
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on a continental shift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
