Responsibilities
Review, revise and implement all operation processes to ensure the Ultimate Customer Experience
Remain up-to-date DG, TSA, FMS, as well as other regulations as required
Will need the ability to handle individual shipments (import/export/domestic) as needed
Direct active involvement with staff and management to ensure a cohesive work environment
Ensure staff motivation and provide coaching to enhance their ability and skill level
Ensure the assigned teams are working effectively, clients are responded to quickly, and established processes are being followed.
Manage staff workload and distribution of tasks, including active participation in tasks to ensure timely/accurate completion.
Ability to assist in the finalization of sales/contracts and fostering strong customer retention.
Qualifications
Strong Operational leadership skills
Minimum 10 years direct Air & Ocean import, domestics, & export experience
Must be bilingual in French and English
Strong computer skills, preferred experience using Cargowise
Customs Broker License preferred but not required
Ability to integrate into a larger privately owned company with a worldwide network of offices spread across Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, and Australia while working smoothly as a member of the local team
